Becoming an SEO Content Freelancer
Since I was 19, I’ve dedicated myself to becoming a bona fide professional writer. It’s been 12 years since then, and it’s been quite a journey. Writing isn’t an easy field to get into, nor is there a clear road to follow.
I’m pivoting my pursuit towards a marketing-focused career in an SEO role, starting as an SEO content freelancer. To me, search engine optimization is both fun and fulfilling. It requires strategy, research, and content-creation skills. I value all of those things, and coupled with my solid writing skills, I’d be a good fit.
Anyway, it takes a wide skillset to specialize in SEO, from quality content to backlinking. I’ve picked up some of the said skills both at work and at home. For example, I’ve written several high-ranking articles. If you search for “opt in language,” you’ll see a featured snippet I wrote. This website ranks #1 on DuckDuckGo if you search for “Layne Radlauer.” I have no clue how their algorithms work as compared to Google’s, but it’s an interesting fact nonetheless.
In conclusion: I’m looking for something new. If you know of any opportunities or have any career advice, I’d love to hear it. Since blogs are supposed to be 300 words for maximum optimization, I’ll keep typing a little. I’m sitting on the couch with Duchess, my girlfriend, and Jasper right now. I haven’t talked much about Jasper yet — but fret not, it’s coming soon.
That’s it. If you read this, thanks!
